Guest House Bridlington Introduction we are a 7 Bedroomed Guesthouse,with 2Family rooms,3 doubles,and 2 single rooms.we are opprox. 100 yds from the Harbour south shore.we dont have any ground floor bedrooms but are able to offer 2 rooms on the first floor for those who are unable to climb too many stairs. Pre-Arrival we have a public phone in the entrance hall. we are located 5-10 minute walk from the coach park and train station and opprox.15 minutes walk from the bus station.we offer a free pick up service from the bus and train stations.Near by towns are Filley opprox. 9 miles, scarbrough opprox 20 miles with Driffield opprox 15 miles. Hull is opprox . 30 miles. The nearest Mobility shop is in chapel street Bridlington or Woodcock Mobility Beckhill Bridlington. The locality of the Radar toilets are on queen st Bridlington located near to the shops.we dont cater for guest with visual/ hearing impairment. Arrival & Car Parking Facilities On arrival we issue you with a Free parking permit that permits you to park free for 1 week in the allocated parking zones.There is 1 allacated parking space for any person with a disibility.Assistance is given to anybody with a disibilityand Bags or cases taken to rooms. There is a small kerb then a concrete path leading up to a step measuring 7.5 in. high. The contact phone number is displayed on several of the external signs.Unfortunatly we dont take pets. Main Entrance & Reception Access only from the front entrance off the street. There is a step up to the front door measuring 7.5 inches high then another step 2 inches high X 8 inches depth this leading into the entrnce hall and dining area this being on the same level.The entrance to the hallway measuring 44 X48 inches long.There are 2 outside lights eitherside of the frontdoor access. The main entrance is well lit inside with a 3 shaded ceiling light also permantly lit is the fire Exit sign over the main Entrance door.Guest ara allacated with keys for there rooms and for main entrace door.seating is available just inside the diningroom ammeadeatly adjacent to the entrance hall.The main entrance door is a side hung wooden door this is permantly kept open during day light hours,this leads to a glass full length door into entrance hall.Width of main entrance door = 35 inches.An intergrated door mat is inlaid between external door and main entrance door.Theres usually someone in charge throughout the day untill opprox. 11 - 12 midnight.There are no grab rails provided except on staircases.Price signs are displayed in entrance hall and in front window of property.All Fire Exit signs throughout property are illuminus .The reception area is located in dining area.Measurements for this room = 27 x 13 foot.All door frames and skirting boards are painted white and there is a continuous patened carpet from the entrance hall, dining room and throughout the staircases and landings. Public Areas - General (Internal) There are no lifts available .Public has access to 4 floors.All public areas are carpeted Except Bathrooms ,theses are vinyl flooring.Public pay phone Being located in entrance hall,but no seating available for this.Lighting in all public areas are either by means of ceiling or wall lights or both.Dining room being lit by 2 ceiling lights and by means of 3 sets of wall lights and aditional lighting in Bar Area.All signage is clear.Staircase from entrance hall to 1st Landing .Number of steps from bottom to 1st landing=14 steps Each measuring 6inches HighX 9 inches Deep X 34 inches accross.Hand rail on left hand side of staircase.There is ceiling lighting on all staircases and landings and also Emergency lighting fitted throughout.All staircases are of gradual gradient with the exception of the top floor staircase.All doors are Fire Doors and are locked with key.All doors are also assisted.There are 2 Bedrooms , 1 seperate Toilet and a Guest tv Lounge on this floor.The width of the landing being 32 inches.The seperate toilet measures 3x4 feet.All landings have Fire point call point. Public Areas - WC There are no ground floor toilets ,toilets are on the 1st floor ; and 2 moor toilets on the 2nd floor ,one of which is a seperate toilet, the other a bathroom. The bathroom is shared by 3 Bedrooms.All facilities are unisex. Fire alarm is raised by means of loud siron.Evacuation procedures are located in all rooms and landings.Toilet doors are side hung and Fire Doors and measure 30 inches wide. Toilets are opprox. 17 inches High, with 2 of the rooms measuring opprox. 4x3 feet and the shared bathroom opprox.7x6.All basins have seperate cold and hot taps.Shared bathroom has walk in shower measuring opprox.27.5x30 inches with mixer shower with simple lever type on / off lever.coat hooks , shower caddys provided. Restaurant / Dining Room, Bar & Lounges, Take Away & Café Dining room/ bar area. wall and ceiling lighting with fan.this area is fully carpeted and is all on one level with access through 1 door.Seating in the bar area is of upholsterd wall seating with aditional round or rectangular tables accomponied by round bar stools and chairs.All tables and chairs can be moved round if space is needed.We have 7 rectangular tables and 2 round bar tables.Tables have central support columns and are opprox. 28 inches high X 41 long X 26 deep.Bar tables are 2 feet high X 2 feet circular. All menus are written in opprox. font size 20, with any help needed to assist in reading of menus. We dont cater for any special dietary or allergies except for vegeterians.We stricktly run a non smoking establishment. We have a small courtyard at the front of the premesis were we have 2 bench type seats and a circular table on firm concrete ground. All meals are served by waitress service only. Conference & Meeting Rooms, Banqueting, Clubs, Entertainment Not applicable Bedrooms All bedrooms are on the 1,2,3rd floors and so they can not be gained by wheel chairs , how ever bedroom 1 on the first floor could accomodate the disabled has it has a good sized En suite in it with a good sized bedroom consisting of 1 Double Bed and 2 Single Beds.All beds have bedside lamps and alarm clock in each room.The room is carpeterd and the Ensuite has vinyl flooring. All rooms are fitted with fire alarm sensor. Door acess into room measures 29inches wide.Room measurements are 21ftX10.5ft at its widest point.Bedroom 2 on the same landing measures 10ft X9ft 10inch.It has a double Bed carpeterd,and has a vanity unit in the room.Tea ,coffee making facilities alarm clock. Bedroom is fitted with fire alarm sensor.Bedroom 3 is located up the next flight of stairs on landing 2 ,there are 13 steps each measurering 31 inches wideX 9.5 inches deep.This is a gradual gradient.Bedroom 3 door measures 28 inches wide.The room measures opprox 21.5 ft X10 ft 8 inches at its widest points.The room is carpeterd and has a Double Bed and Bunk Beds.There is tea,coffee making facilities alarm clock and room is fitted with fire alarm sensor. Bedroom 5 is located on the same landing but is reached by climbing 3 steps these measuring the same has the main stair case. Acess into room 5 measures 28inches wide.The room measures 10X10ft ,it has a double bed,tea,coffee making facilities,fully carpeterd,alarm clock and vanity sink in the room.Fire alarm sensor is fitted. Room 6 is located at the end of this landing.Door measurements into room 6 are 28 inches wide.The room measures 12ftX7ft . It has a single Bed tea,coffee making facilities .The room is carpeterd and has a sink in the corner of the room.Fire alarm sensor is fitted.Bedroom 7 is next door ,with a door measurement of 28 inches wide.The room measures 12ftX8ft. It has a double bed fully carpeterd, tea,coffee making facilities,alarm clock ,vanity sink in the corner of the room.Fire alarm sensor fitted.The last Bedroom no.8 is located up the next flight of stairs.These stairs are steep, but a Hand rail is fitted on the right hand side going up the stairs. There are 15 stair treds measureing opprox.8X30 inches ,all though some of the treds narrow has they go around the corners.Access into room 8 is 28inches wide.The room measures 10 ftX7ft10 inch.The room is fully carpeterd,has tea,coffee making facilities There is a sink unit in the corner of the room.Fire alarm sensor fitted.Also alarm clock as standard.All Bedrooms have colour tvs.All room, have bedside lamps or wall mounted lamps near beds.This room is a single bed - room. Bathroom, Shower-room & WC [Ensuite or Shared] En Suite Bedroom 1 door entry = 29 inches wide.The room measures 7 X7ft 4 inches .It has vinyl flooring ,the toilet seat height = 16 inches. The shower cubicle measures opprox. 28X28 inches.It has a thermostatic mixer type shower,with a twist type controls.Shower step height is 10 inches.There is a chair in the En suite room,and there is a wall mounted fan heater with pull cord. Next to room 1 and 2 is a toilet ,door access to this is 28 inches wide .The room measures 4X3ft .It has vinyl flooring .The toilet seat height measures 16inches.Also fitted is a small hand wash basin opprox.9X7 inches internally.Next door in room 2 .En Suite ,door access measures 20.5inches wide.The room measures 6ft 11inchX30 inches. The shower has a step height of 11 inch.It has a thermostatic mixer type shower with twist type controls.The flooring is of vinyl.The toilet has a seat height of 16 inches.Wash Basin is a vanity unit located in bedroom.seat available in bedroom.En suite no 3 located in room 3 ,door measurement being 23 inches wide. The room measures 77X72 inches .The floor is of vinyl.The toilet seat height measures 16 inches.The wash Basin is located next to the toilet.Shower cubicle measures 27X29 with a 5.5 inch step.The shower is a thermostatic mixer type with twist type controls.A seat is available in the bedroom. Next door to room 3 is a seperate bathroom,door access being 28 inches wide.The room measurements are 7 X6FT 6INCH.The flooring is of vinyl.The shower measures opprox. 28X28inch ,with a 5.5 inch step into it.Shower is a thermostatic mixer type with a lever style control knob.The toilet located opposite shower has a seat height of 16 inches. Next to this is the wash basin.No seat available in this room.This bath room is shared by rooms 6,7,8.
